Often inspired by the combustion of a challenge and the spark of motion and life found in living things, Jennifer Bohlander paints or draws what moves her to create. The anticipation of attack, the rustle of feathers, or the warm, silent bonding moments between mother and child are captured by the swipe of a brush or the frenetic movement of a pencil. When so moved to create by a single species, Jennifer has been known to paint multiple works in a single sitting until distracted by another. Jennifer shares her work space with her daughter, who often inspires her and provides an innocent point of view.
